“Pathways” are lists of courses that are in the same area of interest, and in most cases, pathways are available at all schools depending on registration numbers. Pathways in Middle School are courses students take in the 6th, 7th, and/or 8th grade.

“Academies” are special pathways in Union County Public Schools which have an application process where students may need to travel to another school for the pathway’s classes.
