Health Science Academy at Monroe High School students are solving the mysterious death of Anna Garcia in Principles of Biomedical Science! In PLTW classes, students get to learn by activity-based learning. Students are playing the role of many different careers in the Forensic Medical Investigation team. These jobs include blood Spatter Analyst, Medical Technician, Digital Forensic Investigator, Polygraph Examiner, and Biomedical Scientist, just to name a few. Xochitl Morales-Rodriguez is a 10th grade student taking PBS. She says, Project Lead the Way (PLTW) lets us students engage in hands-on activities and collaborate with our peers to accomplish tasks. PLTW and my teacher, Ms.Boxell, prepare us to be independent thinkers and achieve what we believed we couldn’t.”  Prince Boyer, also a 10th grader taking PBS, when asked what he thought about the PLTW pathway and PBS he says, ” I really enjoy the projects and hand on learning, it makes it fun!”
