WHS Health Science Students Learn About Employability Characteristics for the Healthcare Profession
On Friday, January 22, 2021, Mrs. Raynor’s Health Science II classes had a virtual guest speaker, as they have just concluded our objective 1.01 Employability Characteristics for the Healthcare Professional.
Ms. Raynor wanted to offer the students an opportunity to speak with someone that reads resumes, interviews candidates often. Mr. Chris Raynor joined the class and discussed employability characteristics and tools. Mr. Raynor is an Account Director for Octagon Sports Marketing and he’s a retired certified athletic trainer. He focused his presentation on cover letters, resumes and interview skills for the upcoming student/professional. Student-asked questions were answered at the end of presentation.
