UCPS CTE Reaches Platinum Status in MajorClarity
Union County Public Schools has achieved Platinum Power User status with MajorClarity’s Career and College Readiness (CCR) software platform this school year! MajorClarity by Paper helps ensure that every student’s education leads to a successful career outcome–whether through a 4-year degree or going into the workforce. MajorClarity connects career “test-drives” to academic planning and postsecondary decision-making, leading to a **189% increase in students building career-aligned plans** of study.
MajorClarity strongly believes that for any platform’s features and services to have valuable impact, they must first and foremost be utilized thoroughly. Committing to that core belief is how they achieved an average activation rate of 50%, platform-wide. Overall, EdTech usage typically averages about 30% seat utilization based on recent studies, with CCR tools purported to be _even lower _(around 20%). Union County Public Schools has more than doubled that utilization rate.
Audrey Johnston, Senior Director of Customer Success stated “We are proud to extend to you a well-earned MajorClarity Platinum Power User certificate for the 2022–2023 school year!”
This proprietary designation is typically only reached by the Top 10% of Major Clarity District Partners, and indicates the following stats have been met:
- 70%+ of all student accounts have been activated this school year (nearly 2.5x the average EdTech seat utilization rate)
- 65%+ of those students have returned to their account 2x or more this school year, indicating recurring usage
- Student to staff adoption rate of 120:1 or less, measured as a ratio of number of active students per each active staff member, showcasing strong staff participation.
Reaching Platinum status takes a lot of work and commitment from our staff, and we applaud our team for their time in making Career and College Readiness an important student focus. A big thank you also goes out to our Career Development Coordinators across UCPS for all their hard work introducing students to MajorClarity and teaching them how to best utilize it for future success.
