State Employees Credit Union Visits Weddington Middle School to discuss real-world finances
State Employees Credit Union spent the morning with our 8th graders helping them complete a real world activity which gave them the opportunity to make real life choices similar to those they might have to make as an adult starting with a Net Monthly Income. The presenter introduced a scenario of expected and unexpected expenses to the students. The students soon learned the costs of living is often more than someone’s check.
