@PorterRidgeHSNC and @PiedmontHSNC Skills USA Chapters Compete in State Conference
Porter Ridge and Piedmont High School Skills USA members participated Skills USA State Conference recently.
They took a total of 23 students from Piedmont and Porter Ridge combined to compete in 14 different CTE categories.
The following students placed in the top 5 in their categories and received medals accordingly:
- Alivia Durr, Piedmont High School, Early Childhood Education- 2nd place
- Sophia Durr, Piedmont High School, Early Childhood Education- 3rd place
- Addison Ouimet, Piedmont High School, CERT (Community Emergency Response Team)-3rd place
- Tyler Easter, Forest Hills High School, Firefighting National, 4th place (attends Firefighter Academy at PDHS)
- Aniyah Black, Piedmont High School, Criminal Justice, 5th place
- Caleb McLaughlin, Porter Ridge High School, Criminal Justice, 2nd place
