NASCAR Technical Institute to host hands-on STEM training day for Forest Hills High students
What:
On Monday, March 2, Forest Hills High students will get a rare glimpse into the automotive industry, thanks to an exciting STEM training day hosted by NASCAR Technical Institute representatives.
Throughout the day, students enrolled in Forest Hills High’s automotive and agriculture mechanics classes will participate in hands-on demonstrations with scan tools, a Ford Focus RS, Roush Mustang and Kawasaki dirt bike. NASCAR Technical Institute representatives will be on hand to discuss how STEM education impacts careers in the skilled trades industry while also educating students about career and employment opportunities after graduation.
