MRHS FBLA Succeeds in Chicago!
This past summer, sixty MRHS students competed with over 12,000 high school students in the FBLA National Conference that took place in Chicago, Illinois. Over the course of five days, students competed in their respected events, attended inspiring workshops, and explored the city of Chicago. Among the 60 MRHS FBLA members that competed, 10 received national recognition. Congratulations to the following students:

Keerthana Venkatesh – 4th place, Accounting II
Robert Fan – 5th place, Intro to Business Communications
Even Su – 5th place, Economics
Aiden Tauro – 5th place, Business Calculations
Annushka Mehta and – 8th place, Intro to Business Presentation
Nayna Punuru, Mason Epperly, Jack McDonough, and RJ Gajan – 9th place, Sports & Entertainment Marketing
Outside of the competition, students’ visited “The Bean” and took a scenic boat ride where they learned about the architecture of the city’s buildings. Together, MRHS FBLA members took advantage of exciting opportunities and created impactful memories!

Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) provides students with the opportunity to travel, network through workshops, and explore possible career pathways. FBLA has a variety of events that allows students to engage in topics that interest them. Although the club is centered around competing, it also gives students the chance to grow closer to the people around them. Marvin Ridge FBLA is not just a club but a community, and through it, students obtain skills that prepare them for the future.
