Health Science II students at CHS learn about the Chain of Infection AND how to stop the spread! 🦠🛑💉

Student Work on COVID 19

Student Work on Zika VirusAs a part of Performance-Based Measurements (PBM), students in Health Science II are learning about relevant communicable diseases. After researching specific diseases, students submit an individual project summarizing the “Chainof Infection”for his/her chosen communicable disease. There are six links in the chain including a causative agent, reservoir, portal of exit, mode of transmission, portal of entry and susceptible host. The objective of this project is to exemplify how to stop the spread of disease. In order to stop the spread, one of the links in the “Chain of Infection” must be broken.
